About Us
Welcome to the City of Fargo Fire Department.
In 1875, two fire wardens were appointed for the City of Fargo.
Today, the Fargo Fire Department has 115 personnel, seven stations, seven engine companies, a hazardous materials response unit, a special operations rescue vehicle and one ladder truck. Our organizational chart is available as a PDF file.
Normal business hours for administrative services are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Fargo fire fighters are well-trained and are always ready to serve its citizens and those who visit our community. We work 24-hour shifts with 3 shifts rotating every 9 days. Look at the 2010 Shift Calendar to see who is on duty.
