Join us as we recognize Youth Art Month at the Fargo Public Library. Each week in March, kids of all ages are invited to stop into the Main Library to complete a different make-and-take art activity! New projects begin March 1, 8, 15 and 22. All supplies are provided.

 

 

                           DesBooks graphicign a Bookmark Contest

 

Crank up your creativity! Kids 12 and under are encouraged to enter our first ever "Design a Bookmark Contest." Rules and entry forms are available online or at any Fargo Public Library location. Three winning entries will be chosen from those returned to the Main Library between March 1 and 31. Winners will then be printed and distributed at all library locations. Show off your artisitic skills! For more information, call Children's Services at 241-1495.

We'll be making bubbles, plops and maybe even a fizz or two when we conduct experiments at the Main Library! Kids between the ages of 7 and 12 are invited to join us on Friday, March 12 from 2 to 5 p.m. as we simulate science - and mix up a little flubber! Pre-registration is required for this program and can be completed by calling 241-1495.

 

 

                           Storytime with North Dakota RoyaltyMiss ND USA


Join us on Thursday, March 18 at the Main Library for a special storytime with Miss North Dakota USA Taylor Kearns. Taylor will read some of her favorite stories beginning at 10 a.m. in the Children's Room. No registration is required.

 

 

Therapy Pets Lend an Ear

 Therapy Pets

On Saturday, March 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. reading therapy pets will visit the downtown Main Library. The Therapy Pets Reading Program is designed to help children increase their reading skills. Children can read to a therapy pet for 20 minutes. Registration is required. Children may bring their own books to read or they may choose from a selection of library books. Call 241-1495 to register.
