The Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative (NRI) is a series of programs designed to work together to improve neighborhood quality of life and encourage investment in the city's existing housing stock.

The City of Fargo's housing rehab programs offer incentives for residents to renovate their owner-occupied houses. Private and public financing makes the housing rehab programs possible. All City of Fargo housing rehab programs use the application form linked below:

Some programs are only available in targeted neighborhoods, and others may include income limitations.  The best way to find out if you could benefit from a housing rehab program is to call us at (701) 241-1474 or e-mail

Partnerships make NRI happen. Gate City Bank provides the funding for the NRI Existing Rehab Loan Program.
